Leaving in the morning together with your personal English speaking driver you may want to stop in Modica for a taste of choccolat, before arriving in the wonderful City of Syracuse, notable for its rich Greek history, culture, amphitheatres, architecture, and as the birthplace of preeminent mathematician and engineer Archimedes. Among the remarkable points of interest you will see, there are the Temple of Apollo, The Greek Theatre and the Roman amphitheatre, the Tomb of Archimede and the Temple of Olympian Zeus, all related to the Greek and Roman period, together with the Cathedral of Syracuse built in the 7th century (over the Temple of Athena) on Ortigya island and the Fountain of Arethusa. Also not to miss the St Lucia Basilica with the Caravaggio paint and some remarkable building such Maniace and Euryalos Castles, Bellomo and Montalto  Palaces. After a a suggested lunch along the sea, your personal driver will lead you back to Ragusa, not before having a stop in Noto famous for its fine buildings of the early 18th century, many of which are considered to be among the finest examples of Sicilian baroque style, altought Noto is an ancient town known at the beginning as Netum, a place where according to the legend, Daedalus took place after his flight over the Ionian Sea, as did Hercules after his seventh task.
